Sweet Georgia Brown & Tea for Two
(Live @ Newport Jazz Festival 1958)

"Sweet Georgia Brown"
No gal made has got a shade on Sweet Georgia Brown
Two left feet, oh so neat, has Sweet Georgia Brown
They all sigh and want to die for Sweet Georgia Brown
I'll tell you just why, you know I don't lie not much

It's been said she knocks 'em dead when she lands in town
Since she came why it's a shame how she cools them down
Fellas she can't get must be fellas she ain't met
Georgia claimed her, Georgia named her Sweet Georgia Brown

No gal made has got a shade on Sweet Georgia brown
Two left feet, oh so neat, has Sweet Georgia Brown
They all sigh and want to die for Sweet Georgia Brown
I'll tell you just why, you know I don't lie not much

All those gifts, those courters give to Sweet Georgia Brown
They buy clothes at fashion shows with one dollar down
Oh boy, tip your hat, oh joy, she's the cat
Who's that, mister? It ain't a sister, Sweet Georgia Brown

"Tea for two"
Picture you upon my knee, Just tea for two and two for tea,
Just me for you
And you for me alone.

Nobody near us
To see us or hear us,
No friends or relations
On weekend vacations.
We won't have it known, dear,
That we own a telephone, dear;

Day will break and I'll awake
And start to bake a sugar cake,
For you to take
For all the boys to see.

We will raise a family,
A boy for you, a girl for me.
Oh, can't you see
How happy we will be?

All about Ronnie (1953), Joe Greene
All about Ronnie,
There's so much to tell!
All about Ronnie,
I know him so well!

His magical fingers,
Their sense of embrace;
His whisper that lingers,
Caressing you face.

All about Ronnie,
Best told in a toast;
Let me propose it,
He's my favourite host!

We'll drink from dry glasses,
There's no need for wine!
The champagne is Ronnie,
And Ronnie is mine!

Something Cool, Billy Barnes (1954)
Something cool
I'd like to order something cool
It's so warm here in town
And this heat gets me down
Yes I'd like something cool

My it's nice, to simply sit and rest awhile
I know it's a shame
I can't think of your name
But I remember your smile
I don't ordinarily drink
With strangers
I just usually drink alone
But you were so very nice to ask me
And I'm so terribly far from home.

Like my dress? I must confess
It's very old.
But it's simple and neat
And just right for this heat.
Save my furs for the cold.
A cigarette, no , I don't smoke them
As a rule
But, I'll have one, it might be fun
With something

I'll bet you wouldn't imagine
But I one-time had a house
With so many rooms
I couldn't count them all
And I'll bet you couldn't imagine
But I had fifteen different beaus
Who would beg and beg to take me to a ball
And I'll bet you wouldn't picture me
The time I went to Paris in the fall
Oh who would think the man I loved
Was quite so handsome, quite so tall.
Well, it's through.
It's just a memory I had.
One I'd almost forgot
'cause the weather's so hot
And I'm feeling so bad
About a date
Oh wait, I'm such a fool
He's just a guy who stopped to buy me
Something cool

Una canción preciosa del ábum From Elvis in Memphis.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Black_Limousine
http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/elvispresley/longblacklimousine.html
